The city demands that we now have signage in our back lanes indicating the house number. I thought I would draw something up using our official provincial grass, the Big Blue Stem.

I added these key hole slots with the keyway cutter on the router so I can mount to the fence with hidden screws.
shou sugi ban? I torched certain key areas like where the water will pool and to add some character. Next I coated with a spray on clear acrylic coating for protection from the elements.
