The funny thing about 3D printing…you’ll never run out of applications. This is a super simple design but it turned out to be my most used print to date. I have been pressing 2 pots of coffee a day for at least 3 years with this plunger “knob” I drew up. I printed a couple of variations in height and sphere diameter before I felt it comfortable to use.
I ended up finding other uses for this piece as cupboard door handles, insert for aluminum tube as a pivoting base. Shift nob, turn wheel for the motors on my CNC router.
